Local By-Law Change Reads as Follows and will be voted on at the August 3rd, 2010 meeting: Addendum to Article VII (“Finance and Review”), Section 2 (“Dues”) Annual member dues shall be increased to 1% of a Step 8 FF (annual rate of pay) for the sole purpose of the purchase, operation, maintenance and other associated expenses, of a building to be used as a Union Hall, effective Sept. 7, 2010. The difference between dues calculated as 1% of a Step 1 FF and a Step 8 FF, shall be set aside in a separate Building Fund. If, as of September 7, 2012, there has been no purchase of said building, the fund shall be closed and all monies from this dedicated fund shall be returned in full to each contributing member.
